In my opinion, I feel the legal age for driving should be 18. This age is a reasonable age for young adults. Many teenagers and kids these days have numerous extra co-curricular activities. Parents are getting very busy, being "taxi drivers" along with their own work. Young adults at age 18 can be responsible and take driving seriously. This would take a lot of stress off of parents and establish good responsibility skills for adulthood.

Modern Technology today is very advanced and comes with many safety precautions. With all the advances of the future driving a car is becoming safer and easier. This technology is affecting social interaction in many ways. One, it has become a very easy transport system for friends to meet. I myself go with my family and friends out to have fun. Though, there can be bad aspects such as driving under the influence. This is extremely dangerous and usually happens after parties of social interaction.

In my opinion, the voice of my generation is very strong for the legal age of driving to be 18. Many of my friends feel that driving gives you a sense of freedom and has may positive aspects. You not only no longer need to rely on your parents, but it helps you become a more independant person. Age 18 is when most high school students graduate and go off to college. Driving at 18 is a perfect age along with the new experience of college. Also, I feel age 21 is much too late of an age to start driving.

The actual voice of my generation would be us, as we speak for ourselves. I think we best would know the age of driving in which we feel comfortable. Therefore the perfect and practical age for driving is 18. My friends are just as excited as I am on learning how to drive safely. I think driving is going to be a good experience and a wonderful learning opportunity. The three year difference between 18 and 21 I feel does not make a big difference. Therefore starting at 18 is not at all young.
